We used to think, “Aren’t awards a bit of an excuse for a night out?” “Do they really hold any industry weight?” “Is it really worth the effort of drafting a submission?” However, with a continual stream of praiseworthy client and assignee feedback, we thought the time was right to seek industry recognition for our team’s dedicated hard work, skills, experience and relationship-building.
Well, after coming home from the 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner of the Relocate Awards 2017 with TWO winners’ trophies for Best Destination Services Provider and Most Outstanding HR Partnership I have to confess that we’re very glad we made the effort. It was a spectacular – if nerve-wracking – night out, it feels very, very prestigious and actually, taking time to write the intricate award entries were more than worth the time it took. For me, winning the awards feels like a defining moment in my very long relocation career and I know the team feel the same.
My co-owner and fellow Director George Holmes couldn’t be there on the actual night due to prior commitments but we got a message through to him ‘live’ from the event so that he could share in some of the glory at least in part.
We’d like to thank our team, our clients – their assignees – and our consultants for helping us to make working in the relocation industry an absolute pleasure, and an award-winning success. No one in our office can stop smiling…
